Our famous Bill Sargent Big Band is by far our most popular offering. This band is not only famous in Milwaukee and all of Wisconsin, but it has earned an international reputation for excellence!
We focus on the classy stuff like Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Louis Prima, Ray Charles, Elvis, Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, Patsy Cline, Motown, Chicago . . . Swing, Jazz, and Classic Big Band. Classic Rock & Pop hits. Variety and Christian offerings.
Yes, we rock out and totally lay down the funk, just as a lot of bands do. BUT, when it comes to swing, we have no equal.
THIS is how swing should be played! Lively, with vitality, spark, drive, spunk, groovin’, and dynamics – it’s all about attitude!
Instrumentation: 3 trumpets, 2 trombones, 4 saxes, piano, guitar, bass, drums and 2 vocalists – male & female.
Special note: Although we have performed in some very small rooms and very small audiences, we have never experienced a room, venue, or audience that was too small for this band. We have always been able to make the amount of space work and keep the volume at an appropriate level.
