top hotels, The Pfister Hotel, The Marc Plaza (Hilton) Hotel and The Country Inn
(Country Springs) Hotel, along with
the manager of the Bradley Center, when searching for a band for their OWN wedding, after
viewing many bands night after night at their own facility, decided that The Bill Sargent
Big Band was their first choice and hired The Bill Sargent Big Band to make their own
wedding day THE special day of a lifetime! When a member of the famous Weissgerber
family planned their wedding, they chose The Bill Sargent Big Band. This family owns and operates several of the areas very finest restaurants: The
Golden Mast on Okauchee Lake, The Seven Seas on Nagawicka Lake, The Gasthaus in Waukesha,
The Third Street Pier on the Milwaukee River and the Edleweiss Cruise Ship. How many bands
& musicians do you think this family has listened to over the years? (one of the
Weissgerbers is a fine musician himself) For the Grand Re-Opening of the Weissgerber's Seven Seas Restaurant, they once again, chose The Bill Sargent Big Band. It was such a success, they asked for the coming New Years Eve also! (Unfortunately, I was unable to accept their gracious invitation for that particular date.) By the way, their restaurants are beautiful with wonderful food!

Wisconsin, Governor Tommy Thompson, wanted to put Wisconsin's best foot forward to make an
impression on all the other Republican Governors in the United States, he chose The Bill
Sargent Big Band as the best band in Wisconsin for his hosting of The National Republican
Governors Conference. He repeated himself when he hired The Bill Sargent Big Band, once
again, when he hosted the reception for the "INC 500" Companies. When the largest hotel owner in Wisconsin (Steve Marcus of Marcus Hotels) wanted to put the best foot forward to impress their guests, the owners and management of the Preferred Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, during a black tie dinner while they attended their 25th anniversary worldwide annual convention at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, The Marcus Corporation chose the Bill Sargent Big Band to help secure their worldwide reputation for quality. The Pfister Hotel wanted things to go especially well, as they were celebrating their 100th anniversary.
The only major hotel in Wisconsin to see the last century arrive on December 31, 1899, the Pfister Hotel, chose The Bill Sargent Big Band to help them treat their guests to the ultimate celebration bringing in this century on the Millennium New Years Eve, December 31, 1999. A special note about this - the most expensive ticket in town was ours at $699 per couple.
